Conference Registration
To register, complete and mail the registration form, or you may use a fax, phone, or online option (see registration form). Registration is limited. Prepayment is required to guarantee your registration.
Program Cancellation Policies
1) We will gladly issue full refunds for cancellations made by 5 p.m. ET, April 19, 2001. No refunds will be issued thereafter. Substitutions are encouraged. (2) If a program is cancelled for any reason, the Georgia Center will not be responsible for any cancellation changes/charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
Who Should Attend
The Office of Nutrition/Division of Public Health is pleased to provide the Nutrition Assistant/Front Line Staff Workshop for individuals providing nutrition education to WIC participants, resource mothers, and to workers providing services to maternal and pediatric patients. The workshop will focus on teaching skills for delivery of public health services to clients served by local health departments.
General Information
This conference is part of the outreach efforts of The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, which has as its mission to serve the learning needs of adults and organizations and to provide leadership in developing the theory and practice of adult and continuing education. The Georgia Center is a key element in The University of GeorgiaÕs land-grant, service mission.
Lodging
A block of rooms is being held for your conference by the Crowne Plaza in Macon. Individuals must make their own reservations by calling 478-746-1461. Reservations should be made before April 10, 2001. The room charge is $65 plus tax for single/double occupancy. Check-in is at 3 p.m.; checkout is at 12:00 noon. Please identify yourself as attending the Nutrition Assistant Workshop.
