About the Conference

The Koi Health Management conference is designed for veterinarians, hobbyists, retailers, and producers involved with ornamental fish. Conference topics cover all aspects of fish husbandry, and the laboratories range from beginner to advanced levels. Ample staff will be available for individual instruction. Each day concludes with a roundtable question-and-answer session.

Continuing Education Credits

This conference will provide 20.5 contact hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit through the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education. Full attendance is required to receive total CE credits.

Registration Fees

The fee for this conference is $550.00 for veterinarians for early registration and $500.00 for non-vets for early registration.

This conference is limited to 40 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis; preregistration is required. Only the receipt of a paid registration guarantees a place in the conference. The fee includes Friday sessions and an evening reception at the Athens Holiday Inn, as well as Saturday and Sunday continental breakfasts, lunches, and refreshment breaks at the College of Veterinary Medicine. The fee also includes all lab supplies and instructional materials.

This full-service hotel features the Ginkgo Tree Restaurant & Lounge, a state-of-the-art exercise facility, a business center, an indoor pool, a Whirl Pool, interior-corridor-entry guest rooms, free parking, free local phone calls, and free shuttle service to the College of Veterinary Medicine (if requested at check-in).

All flights into Athens connect through Charlotte, NC. Regular ground transportation is available from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to the Athens Holiday Inn.

Conference Cancellation Policies:
(1) We will gladly issue full refunds for cancellations made by 5:00 p.m. ET, January 20, 2006. No refunds will be issued thereafter. Substitutions are will be allowed. (2) If a conference is cancelled for any reason, neither the Georgia Center nor the College of Veterinary Medicine will be responsible for any cancellation changes/charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
