The Basic Small Animal Soft Tissue Rigid Endoscopy course is introductory, with skills considered standard for the high-quality practice, including diagnostic procedures (bladder, ear, nose, and laparo scopy). Integration of endoscopy into a practice is enhanced if a technician can accompany a veterinarian to the course. The course is designed to get veterinarians started in minimally invasive surgery.
Technicians are encouraged to attend the lectures and observe, but not participate in, the hands-on laboratory. Separate laboratory instruction will be provided in equipment care and application.
