"Exploring the World-Wide Web" is designed to help you:

Understand what the Internet is, what the World-Wide Web is, and how the web works
Understand what hardware and software are needed to access the web
Learn the basics of using the Netscape Navigator web browser
Understand URLs and use them to connect to web sites
Visit some useful and/or cool web sites
Use indexes and search tools to find information on the web.
Create simple web-compatible documents of your own in Hypertext Markup Language.
