More than 3,000 students enroll in some 4,500 University System of Georgia Independent Study (USGIS) courses annually.
  • Traditional course guides and lesson submissions.
  • Web courses, taken completely online-new Web courses are added each semester.
  • Also, e-mail courses and fax submission of lessons.
  • Students may order textbooks and other course materials online.
Credit courses are offered through six senior higher education institutions of the University System of Georgia-Armstrong Atlantic State University, Georgia College and State University, Georgia Southern University, North Georgia College and State University, The University of Georgia, and Valdosta State University.
