The International Institute for Leaders
The International Institute for Leaders offers participants new perspectives from which to make educational and training decisions to help their organizations, their colleagues, and their students respond to the relentless changes of a global society. The goal of the Institute is to provide an enhanced understanding of and insight into what is happening in today's world -- in the corporate sector, in government, and in higher education. Participants will:
- Discover and discuss global trends and issues with experts from around the world, becoming part of the IIL network of leaders and colleagues.
- Learn to apply effective leadership principles within the context of the new global community, through greater understanding of the relationships between and among nations.
- Gain appreciation for how the world views the United States, clarifying the concept of internationalism.
- Grow professionally and personally through challenging sessions presented by two of the world's leading university-based adult learning centers.
Enrollment is limited. For full details about the Institute, please contact Joyce A. Fleeman, Conference Coordinator, Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Athens, Georgia 30602-3603; Phone: 1-706-542-2101; FAX: 1-706-542-6382; E-mail: fleemanj@gactr.uga.edu
