A study of contemporary terrorist patterns, including historical roots,
methods of operation, the spectrum of terrorist networks/groups at home
and abroad, types of weapons used by terrorists, relationships to the
media and civil liberties, and counterterrorist responses. Emphasis is
placed upon how terrorism has affected American security concerns and
society in general.
Requirements: Ten lessons and a Final Examination.
