Recommendation: Satisfactory completion of POLS 1101-1101D (UGA prerequisite) or
equivalent. .
A study of the presidential institution, its environment, and the people who have occupied the
office. Special attention is given to presidential roles, powers, and policy making within the
executive and legislative branches.
Requirements: Ten lessons and one examination.
