Preparation and completion
Students should review carefully for examinations since students will typically not have access to textbooks and materials—only a few examinations allow students to refer to textbooks and other materials during examinations. In these cases, there will be a notice in the course guide and in the examination confirmation letter. Students must present picture identification to test-site officials before examinations will be administered.
An opened examination packet will be graded regardless of the portion of the examination completed. A student leaving the room after the examination packet has been opened must turn in the examination for a grade at that time. An examination not completed sufficiently to earn a passing grade will receive an "F." Removing pages from the examination book or other material from the examination packet may invalidate the examination and may result in assignment of an "F" on the examination.
Students with medical problems or disabilities that prevent them from adhering to these examination regulations should contact Independent and Distance Learning before scheduling their examinations.
