"This short book (with easily digestible short chapters of a few pages each) is a very useful introduction to some of the dilemmas and questions online educators face, including web page design, encouraging group interaction, and the changing role of institutions in supporting online instruction. Worth browsing."
David Carter-Tod, Wythevill Community College

Adult Learning and the Internet received the
1998 Georgia Adult Education Association Literary Award.
Linda Gilbert received the
1999 Georgia Adult Education Association Literary Award for her article "Intranets for Learning and Performance Support."
