General Information & Fees

Course Materials
All handouts will be furnished at the first class. Textbooks are not included in the tuition for each course. To order textbooks for all of the courses, call Member Services at the American Society of Appraisers at 800-272-8258 and select option 3, or order online at the ASA Web site at www.appraisers.org/pubs.

Note: Textbooks must be purchased prior to the start of the courses. Each course includes assignments that must be completed prior to the class session. All participants are expected to bring their own calculators.

The Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center & Hotel, a unit of the University of Georgia's Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, provides innovative lifelong learning opportunities that develop intellectual and human potential. Program Registration
Complete and mail, fax or phone in the registration form. Prepayment is required to be registered. Registration is limited and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If invoicing is required, the Georgia Center will issue and process an invoice at the highest fee listed. Register Now!

Course Confirmation
A confirmation of your registration will be sent by e-mail upon receipt of your payment. Please contact the Georgia Center if you do not receive confirmation. A map, parking information, and further details will be mailed to you prior to the sessions.

Cancellation Policies
We will gladly issue refunds for cancellations made in writing by 5:00 p.m. ET 10 business days prior to the first day of class (minus a $50 processing fee). If a program is cancelled for any reason, the Georgia Center will not be responsible for any cancellation changes/charges assessed by airlines, hotel or travel agencies. Refunds for package pricing will be reduced based on the standard rate for each module plus a $50 processing fee.

Lodging/Meals
(Georgia Center Hotel or local other accommodations)

All participants are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements and for any costs associated with their lodging, meals, and transportation. For reservations at the Georgia Center Hotel, please call +1-888-295-8894. You can also request a reservation online. Hotel reservation requests will be entered into the hotel system on the next business day after a request is received. The reservation department operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed weekends and holidays). For other hotel information, call the Georgia Center Hotel at +1-706-548-1311. Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Note: The Georgia Center is a smoke-free building; all lodging rooms and conference rooms are nonsmoking.

Transportation and Directions
Athens, Georgia, is located about 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. For directions, see www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/conferences/about/directions.phtml. A parking deck is located adjacent to the Center (hourly rates, maximum $8 each 24-hour period; vehicle height limit, 7 feet). Athens is served by two airports. Athens-Ben Epps Airport offers connecting flights to and from Charlotte, NC. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located about 90 minutes southwest of Athens, with scheduled ground shuttle service and rental car service available between the airport and the Georgia Center.
