Personal Property Appraisal Certificate Program (Four Courses)
Introduction to Personal Property Valuation
Personal Property Valuation - Methodology: Research and Analysis
Personal Property Valuation - Report Writing
Personal Property Valuation - The Legal and Commercial Environment
Personal Property Appraisal Certificate Program; Introduction to Personal Property Valuation; Personal Property Valuation - Methodology: Research and Analysis and Personal Property Valuation - Report Writing include 28 and a half hours of lectures, discussions, and exams. Personal Property Valuation - The Legal and Commercial Environment includes 29 hours of lectures, discussions, and exams. When you have completed all four required courses with a grade of "C" or better, you will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion" and 11.45 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by the University of Georgia. A CEU is awarded for every 10 hours of instruction before a qualified instructor.
The four Personal Property Appraisal Certificate Courses must be taken in sequence.

Upon successful completion of the four foundation courses, you will be prepared for accreditation and membership in the American Society of Appraisers. The courses also provide you with a base for further studies in the field.

Insurance, Appraisers and the Law PP440

This course will analyze widely accepted court decisions that affect the appraisal of personal property; classify definitions of value as related to insurance claims; review insurance terminology and concepts; understand types of loss; and evaluate damage issues.
Upon your successful completion of the course requirements, you will earn 1.5 CEUs from the University.
