Learning Objectives You will learning the basics and advanced turfgrass management practices from the renowned UGA Turfgrass Team. The short course will feature the most recent research findings from the UGA turfgrass research program that will impact turfgrass management practices for years to come. For example, you will learn about the new shade tolerant bermudagrass developed by Dr. Wayne Hanna and you will learn about the advancements being made with Seashore paspalum and tall fescue. Water quality, availability and use are critical concerns for all turfgrass managers; Dr. Bob Carrow will discuss his research in these areas and show you how the use of Best Management Practices (BMP) can save you time, money and water without sacrificing turfgrass quality.
