Cell Phone Policy

Please turn your cell phone off or program it to "vibrate only" while classes are in session. If you must talk on the phone, please do so during a break.

Course Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy does not apply to any online programs or conferences and some certificate courses.

If you cancel out of a course four business days (M-F only, weekends not included) or more before a course begins, we will gladly issue you a full refund, minus a $15 cancellation processing fee. For course cancellations made within three full business days before the day that a course begins (M-F only, weekends not included), we will issue you a refund at the rate of 50% of the course fee, minus a $15 cancellation processing fee.

No Refunds: No refunds are issued within one business day before a course begins or after a course begins. Transfers to other courses or participant substitutions are encouraged.

Cancellation-Processing/Administration Fee: Every course cancellation that is not due to low enrollment incurs a $15 cancellation-processing/administration fee.

Course Transfer: You may transfer a course enrollment, but you may do so only once. If you do not attend the course during the second enrollment cycle, you forfeit the course fee unless you cancel before the refund deadline.

Low-Enrollment Refunds: 100% refunds are made for courses that are cancelled due to low enrollments. In most cases, we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance of a cancellation. If you paid with a credit card, a credit should appear on the next billing cycle. If you paid with a check, cash, or debit card, you should get a refund within four weeks. The Georgia Center is not responsible for any personal charges incurred with an airline, a travel agency, or a hotel.
