Earn the credential that demonstrates your financial management expertise.
Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) is an advanced professional certificate awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). In partnership with the IMA, the University of Georgia helps you prepare for the rigorous, two-part CMA examination.

Businesses pay higher salaries for CMAs
Businesses need people with strong planning and analysis skills. CMAs are trusted business advisors with certified knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
As a globally recognized symbol of professionalism, excellence, and integrity, the CMA credential sets you apart from others who have a college degree alone. By earning a CMA, you demonstrate to employers your mastery of best practices in financial management. On average, CMAs earn over $22,000 more than their noncertified peers, according to IMA’s 22nd Annual Salary Survey.
Prepare for the exams at UGA’s Gwinnett campus
UGA’s Gwinnett campus in metro Atlanta offers two instructor-led, preparatory courses — one for each part of the CMA exam. You can take both courses in any order, according to your preference.
