The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, located on the beautiful, historic campus of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, provides educational conferences, courses, and programs for lifelong learners. A total living and learning environment, The Georgia Center includes a 200-room hotel, restaurants, banquet areas, conference rooms, auditoriums, a fitness center, and a computer lab — all under one roof. As a unit of UGA's Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, the Center brings the University's teaching, research, and service expertise to the people of Georgia and beyond.
The Georgia Center is located at 1197 South Lumpkin Street, at the corner of South Lumpkin Street and Carlton Street on the UGA Campus in Athens. Get Google Maps directions.
Free parking is available after 5pm in the surface lots around the Georgia Center. Pay-by-the-hour parking is available at the South Campus Parking Deck adjacent to the Georgia Center. Enter off of Sanford Drive or Lumpkin Street (vehicle height limit, 7 feet). No parking decal is needed. The Georgia Center does not reimburse participants for hourly parking fees or campus parking violations.
