Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) and

The Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) credential is a universally recognized standard of achievement the capstone of the secretarial profession. Module I: Office Systems and Technology This course will cover the office and technology systems that are integral to administrative work, including computer hardware and networks, telecommunication systems, database and spreadsheet programs, desktop publishing, design and reproduction, communication and coordination tools, and electronic commerce operations.

Module II: Office Administration
Review the systems and processes involved in office administration, including filing and card systems, electronic and paper record-keeping, and file protection. We will also discuss the interpersonal aspects of administrative work, such as verbal communication and listening, business etiquette, and presentation and writing skills.

Module IV: Advanced Organizational ManagementThis review course will prepare you for the CAP exam, which is taken in addition to the three CPS modules. In this course, you'll look at critical thinking and decision-making, strategic planning, mentoring and training, teambuilding and team training and advanced communication skills.
