Design and craft your own jewelry! Students work on their own individual projects with instructor assistance. Projects include everything from jewelry to vessels, spoons, boxes, and wall pieces. Various techniques are presented throughout the class sessions including stone setting, forging, etching, chasing and repousee, advanced stone setting, reticulation, lost-wax casting, cuttlefish casting, alloying, mold making, and more. Development of design ideas and appropriate processes to be used are ongoing explorations.
