Advanced Paralegal Certificate Program-Online

These advanced online paralegal topics build upon the nationally acclaimed Paralegal Certificate Course© and are specifically designed for those who wish to extensively build upon their knowledge of law and paralegal studies in specialized facets of contemporary law. Additional paralegal training will give you a strong competitive edge over other paralegals and should increase your salary. These advanced paralegal topics provide comprehensive training and will enhance your legal knowledge and skills. Those who successfully complete at least six advanced paralegal topics will be awarded an Advanced Paralegal Certificate of Completion from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education.

The Advanced Paralegal Certificate Program is offered in conjunction with the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and the Center for Legal Studies.

Up to three Advanced Paralegal Course topics may be taken during one seven-week online session and Advanced Paralegal Course topics do not have to be taken in any particular order. Online participants should expect to spend at least 45-50 hours reading and preparing assignments and tests for each course.

Continuing Education Information: 

45 Hours/4.5 CEUs per course

Those who successfully complete at least six advanced paralegal topics will be awarded an Advanced Paralegal Certificate of Completion from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education.

NALA Certified Paralegal Exam: Students who have a Bachelors degree in any subject and successful completion of the Paralegal Certificate Program and at least 3 advanced paralegal topics are eligible to sit for the optional NALA Certified Paralegal Exam. 

Prerequisite Courses: 

Successful completion of the Paralegal Certificate program or similar program or 1 year of paralegal experience.
