Photographing Weddings and Other Special Events (elective)
Instructor: Phillip Faulkner
The bride is never on time, and if something can go wrong, it probably will. But, despite these and other problems, nothing captures the imagination like a wedding. Wedding photographs tell the story without the words. So whether you want to become better at what you already do or because you are thinking of starting a business, this course covers topics like finances, equipment, lighting, schedules and what to charge, family politics, and working with large groups. Constructive and fun, this course is informative and enlightening. Two field trips (dates to be announced) will be taken to a wedding house.

Please view the instructor's web site

NOTE: Instructor assumes that you have taken either "Fundamentals of Photography" or "Taking Better Pictures: Digital & 35mm" or that you know and understand how to use a digital camera, that you understand about shutter speeds/apertures, lenses, composition, and how to use your flash. Basic camera knowledge will not be taught.

Tues. & Thurs., June 17 - July 17 (No class 7/1 & 7/3), 6:30 - 8:30pm, 8 sessions/16 hrs., $169, #66302
