This course is approved by the Georgia Real Estate Appraiser's Board and is for those seeking the first-level State of Georgia Appraiser Classification. It is recommended for those seeking to become a registered real estate appraiser, for those who invest in real estate, real estate attorneys, and real estate agents. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass a GBI background check. Topics include: real property appraisal for residences and small income properties, performing an appraisal inspection (field trip), completing standard appraisal forms (including process to arrive at value indications), appraisal nomenclature, data sources, basic computer skills, basic economics, basic math, and geometry.
