Aviation Camp (Ages 12-17)

Aviation Camp (Ages 12-17)

Have you always dreamed of learning to fly? In our Aviation program, you'll explore the science and physics of flight, participate in ground school lessons, and practice flying using computerized flight simulation software under the guidance of real pilots. You will learn to develop flight plans, practice conducting pre-flight inspections, and explore the many careers in aviation. We'll be taking trips to local airports and flight schools, so you can see how these organizations operate. And best of all, when camp is over, you're invited to a private EAA Young Eagles event in Athens, where you will fly in a small airplane with a licensed pilot! Open to students ages 12-17.
