Comic Book, Manga & Cartoon Art: Session A (Ages 11-17)

Comic Book, Manga & Cartoon Art (Ages 11-17)

This camp is currently taking waiting list applicants only. Please click "Register Now" to be added to the list. Though we cannot guarantee it, spots often become available as summer approaches.

Spend the week with two award-winning comic book artists, learning to create your own comic book, manga series or cartoon strip. You'll work on perfecting your drawing, coloring and inking techniques, and learn how to create characters, write dialogue and develop a storyline. You'll participate in guided activities and critiques, designed to hone your technical and critical thinking skills. Everyone works at their own pace, so students of all skill levels are welcome. Advanced students can participate in special-topic workshops, which the instructors develop based on student need and interests. Time will be spent each day on a final project of your own design, which will be published in the Annual SAUGA Comic Book Anthology. Open to students ages 11-17.
