CONFERENCE AND MEETING MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM OFFERED THIS FALL TO MEETING PLANNERS, CONFERENCE COORDINATORS AND MORE
Athens, GA - The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education will offer the Conference and Meeting Management Certificate Program (CMMC), Saturdays, Sept. 16 - Nov. 4, 2006, at the University of Georgia Gwinnett Campus, 1000 University Center Lane, in Lawrenceville, Ga. The CMMC program is intended for meeting planners, event planners, conference coordinators, training and development managers.

The CMMC program will provide participants with the meeting planning knowledge to apply immediately to practice; the opportunity to network with some of the top national performers in this industry; and the ability to apply the state-of-the-art budgeting and technology knowledge essential to running a profitable meeting. The CMMC Certificate Program is endorsed by the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (GaMPI).

Successful CMMC graduates will:
* Expand their knowledge of event planning and how to apply what's learned to your actual practice.
* Gain specific instruction in event planning and execution under the guidance of some of the industry's top professionals and instructors
* Network and make invaluable contacts with other well-established professionals in the industry
* Learn about the latest information technology used in the meeting planning industry and how to apply it
