Georgia Center announces customer service programs scheduled for this Fall for the hospitality industry
|
Athens, GA - (July 24, 2007) - Restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality businesses are unique when it
comes to customer service. Outstanding service is absolutely critical to
business success, and issues such as high employee turnover and
increasing competition present special challenges. Customers and guests
want to know that you understand their needs and that you can make
things happen for them. This fall, the University of Georgia Center for
Continuing Education is pleased to offer two programs for the
hospitality industry, Service Heroes in Hospitality - A Guest Service
Workshop and Service Heroes In Hospitality - A Train-the-Trainer
Certificate Program.
Service Heroes in Hospitality - A Guest Service Workshop
This interactive, one-day guest service workshop is designed to help
discover ways to make a lasting impression on guests so that they will
want to return. Participants will identify reasons for providing great
customer service and discover some special tips and behaviors to make
service standards more effective. Service Heroes in Hospitality - A
Guest Service Workshop will be offered:
Wednesday, September 26, 2007
The University of Georgia at Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, Georgia)
100 University Center Lane, Lawrenceville, Ga.
Tuesday, November 27, 2007
The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education
Conference Center & Hotel, 1197 S. Lumpkin Street, Athens, Ga.
Service Heroes In Hospitality - A Train-the-Trainer Certificate Program
Specifically designed for the hospitality industry by University of
Georgia faculty, this dynamic course will teach company trainers new
ways of providing outstanding service in a team setting. Upon the
completion of the Train-the-Trainer Certificate Program, company
trainers will take away the skills to introduce and deliver an in-house
customer service excellence training program in their place of business.
Service Heroes In Hospitality - A Train-the-Trainer Certificate Program will
be offered:
October 22 - 23, 2007
The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education
Conference Center & Hotel, 1197 S. Lumpkin Street, Athens, Ga.
Marty Fisher with the Starbucks Coffee Company is a recent participant
of the Service Heroes in Hospitality - A Guest Service Workshop. Fisher
was pleased with the workshop's benefits, especially the easy-to-master
practical tools that positively impact customer service skills and
attitudes. "Service Heroes in Hospitality is a practical, interactive,
hands-on learning experience," Fisher said. "The fun is in the doing as
participants learn the 'whys' of customer service in personal, rather
than academic way."
