Kim Rogers Named One of GSAE 90 Movers & Shakers
|
Athens, GA - (October 25, 2007) - Kim Rogers, department head of Sales at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center & Hotel, was named one of the Georgia Society of Association Executives' (GSAE) 90 Movers & Shakers -- a peer-selected group of 90 association professionals who have demonstrated involvement in, participation in and support of GSAE and the association community in Georgia.
The announcement was made during the group's gala October 16, 2007, at the King Plow Arts Center Event Gallery in Atlanta where 90 Georgia association professionals, including Rogers, were recognized.
Rogers manages the Georgia Center sales force and the event planners. Her department is responsible for booking all new events at the Georgia Center and coordinating events including meetings, banquets, retreats, and wedding receptions. She's been at the Georgia Center for 10 1/2 years and has worked for the University of Georgia for 21 years.
Previously, Kim has chaired the Meet and Greet Committee, the New Member Orientation Committee and is presently serving a two and a half year term as a corporate member of the GSAE Board of Directors.
GSAE is the second oldest society of association executives in the country. It's an organization of more than 600 association executives and vendors of association products and services, including representation from 260 national, regional, state and local associations based in Georgia.
