Faculty and staff will have the opportunity to learn about public service and outreach activities and goals at UGA and honor award recipients during the 21st Annual Public Service and Outreach Meeting and Awards Luncheon.
Dr. Jennifer Frum, Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, will deliver an address about the state of public service and outreach at the University of Georgia. The event will also recognize faculty and staff award winners for their outstanding service to the university and the state.
The event's keynote speaker, Vice Admiral Robert Harward, Deputy Commander of the United States Central Command, will discuss leadership principles in a dynamic world. Matt Hauer, a demography specialist with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, will help envision the changing face of Georgia by exploring past and future population trends.
