The 25th Annual Public Service and Outreach Meeting and Awards Luncheon will kick-off at 10:00 a.m. in Masters Hall. New this year, morning and afternoon concurrent sessions will be available for public service faculty and staff development. Participants will be able to choose from topics related to fundraising, telling the PSO story, applied research, social styles profiles, and experiential learning. The sessions will include panel discussions and interactive learning. (Concurrent Sessions: 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. & 2:15 - 3:30 p.m.)
During the awards luncheon, participants will have the opportunity to learn about recent and ongoing public service and outreach activities at UGA and honor this year’s recipients. (12:00 Noon – 1:30 p.m., Magnolia Ballroom)
Between sessions, the 2015-16 Service-Learning Fellows will present posters highlighting the service-learning courses and projects they have developed during their year-long fellowship with the Office of Service-Learning (OSL). The OSL is jointly supported by the Offices of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach and the Vice President for Instruction. (10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with posters on display until conclusion of meeting, Hill Atrium)
