The eleventh annual North American Black Fly Association meeting will be held February 9-10, 2013 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education on the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia. The meeting will start at 9:00 am on Saturday morning, February 9th and end around 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 10th. We invite black fly enthusiasts, researchers, control specialists and students to join us to exchange ideas, information and camaraderie. Students are especially encouraged to participate in the Mike Spironello Award competition presented annually to the student giving the best talk. The award was established to honor the memory of former NABFA Secretary and black fly researcher, Mike Spironello, who passed away unexpectedly in 2006. A tour of the University of Georgia black fly rearing and bioassay laboratory will be available for anyone whom is interested. Event Cancellation Policies
(1) A cancellation received by 5:00 p.m. ET on or before February 4, 2013, will be refunded, minus a $35 processing fee. No refunds will be issued thereafter; substitutions will be allowed. (2) To change or cancel your registration, call 800-884-1381, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. (3) If an event is cancelled for any reason, the UGA Hotel and Conference Center will not be responsible for any charges related to travel.
