As our nation looks to plants to satisfy its growing energy demands, University of Georgia scholars are searching for answers to both long-term and near-term questions associated with bioenergy production. UGA's Bioenergy Systems Research Institute unites the university's legacies in agriculture, forestry, environmental science, engineering and economics with its strengths in carbohydrate science, genetics and microbiology to provide the scientific and practical foundation to support an economic and sustainable bioenergy future.
Goal: Facilitate collaborations among a broad spectrum of bioenergy research efforts by providing UGA faculty and other interested stakeholders with a venue for discussing their research, outreach and instructional interests.

Event Cancellation Policies
(1) A cancellation received by 5:00 p.m. ET on or before April 2, 2012 will be refunded, minus a $35 processing fee. No refunds will be issued thereafter; substitutions will be allowed. (2) To change or cancel your registration, call 800-884-1381, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. (3) If an event is cancelled for any reason, The Georgia Center will not be responsible for any charges related to travel.
