This leadership conference is for professionals who support young people who have experienced foster care or homelessness, transition to higher education. The Embark Georgia Leadership Conference is a unique event that will convene professionals from higher education, K-12, and the community to consider important issues that young people who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness face while pursuing a postsecondary education. An opening ‘keynote simulation experience’ will set the stage for informative breakout sessions and featured keynote speaker, Sara Goldrick-Rab.

(3) If an event is cancelled for any reason, the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel will not be responsible for any charges related to travel.
