Georgia Education Advancement Council Summer Conference at UGA

“Hot & Classic: Red hot ideas to fire up your message.”

The University of Georgia invites you to Athens, "The Classic City," for the 2012 GEAC Summer Conference.

We'll start off Thursday afternoon with a bus tour of campus featuring both historic North Campus and our newest facilities. The tour concludes with a refreshing reception at our new Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries which offers a glimpse into Georgia's long and storied past through documents and objects dating back to colonial times and beyond and interactive kiosks with access to oral history interviews, historical film, video and sound recordings.

Then travel with a group of your GEAC friends to have an evening of dinner and fun in downtown Athens.

Our own award-winning UGA experts will share some red hot ideas to fire up your message through track sessions in alumni relations, communications, advancement/development and publications on Friday morning.

Brian Bordainick (UGA AB '07, BSEd '07), the Founder and Executive Director of the 9th Ward Field of Dreams in New Orleans, will close the conference with an inspiring keynote address.
