SRECA is a professional development program designed to train Extension personnel to be leaders in their states for appropriate and relevant programming in climate variability and change. Attendees will be joining us from many states across the southern region and are working in various sectors including coastal resources, livestock, crops, and forestry. The academy is designed to build capacity among Extension agents about climate science, management options to improve resilience, available resources, strategies for incorporating climate variability in programming and finally, ideas to get started incorporating these materials. Through new relationships built with professionals in similar arenas across the region, participants will exchange ideas and enhance their programs.
