Calling all budding innovators, entrepreneurs, creative problem-solvers, and tech pioneers! Are you overflowing with ideas? Learn how to turn them into reality in this exciting new camp! Here, you'll get the chance to create a business plan for your own innovative idea - whether it's a new app, a worthwhile charity, or an amazing product! Along the way you'll manage projects, design and develop a brand, rub elbows with fellow innovators, and harness social media to transmit your ideas to the public. Open to students ages 13-17.

Georgia Center for Continuing Education

Overnight students will check in at their assigned residence hall on Sunday evening and check out on Saturday morning. Day students will check in at the Georgia Center on Monday morning between 8-8:30am. This camp takes place each day at the Georgia Center, but students will travel around campus by foot or bus for specific activities, and by university vehicle for any off-campus field trips. More details will be available in your confirmation email and in the welcome email sent out three weeks before camp begins.

Lucas Jensen is currently completing his Ph.D. in Learning, Design and Technology. He holds a Master's in Education in Instructional Design and Development, as well as a Master's in Education in Social Science Education, both from the University of Georgia. For nearly a decade, he worked as a publicist and promoter at Team Clermont, an Athens-based company that handles PR, publicity, and radio promotion for music artists. Lucas has also spent time as a touring/recording musician and designing games. He currently teaches undergraduate courses at UGA and James Madison University, where he shows his students how to use innovative technology in their professional lives. This is his sixth year as a Summer Academy instructor.
