The units of Public Service and Outreach are active on social media, sharing the work of our amazing faculty and staff. This session will cover how to amplify your unit’s work and develop content to tell your own PSO story!

Presenters:

Mary Grace Feldman, Digital Media Strategist, Office of the Vice President of Public Service and Outreach, University of Georgia

Mary Grace Feldman serves as the digital media strategist in the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach. In this role, she creates content for social media, updates the website and conducts analyses to determine the reach of PSO across the web. She has a master’s degree in integrated advertising and public relations from UGA and eight years of experience in graphic design. Feldman majored in public relations for her undergraduate degree and minored in human development and family sciences. 

Catherine Elrod, Public Relations Coordinator, J.W. Fanning institute for Leadership Development, University of Georgia

Catherine Elrod, who goes by “Cat,” works to highlight Fanning Institute programs and activities through marketing collateral, social media and content creation. While she works with a multitude of programs at Fanning, Elrod specifically works with the Embark program, leading its social media accounts and marketing presence online andin person. Before joining the Fanning Institute, she worked as a marketing account manager for the Georgia Department of Economic Development and spent a few years in local television as a host and producer.
