Director of the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel

The Director of the Georgia Center serves as the strategic and operational leader for the entire organization—guiding the long‑term direction, driving performance, and ensuring excellence across all areas of the Center’s work.This role oversees all administrative, budgetary, and programmatic operations while leading a dedicated team of faculty and staff based in Athens.

Reporting directly to the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach and serving on PSO’s senior leadership team, the director holds a highly visible and influential position. The role represents the Georgia Center across the university community as well as to a broad range of external partners, clients, and stakeholders—each with unique perspectives and priorities. Strong leadership presence, relationship‑building, and communication skills are essential.

Beyond day‑to‑day management, the director serves as the primary ambassador for the Georgia Center, shaping its reputation, cultivating key relationships, and advancing its mission both internally and externally.
