FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Join our team of culinary professionals providing exceptional service in our onsite restaurants and catered events.
Kitchen Utility Worker – Cook (Temporary – position will last less than 12 months)
Position will assist with preparation and presentation of food for the Savannah Room, Courtyard Café, Training Table, and or Banquets (AM/PM).

Kitchen Utility Worker – Dishwasher (Temporary – position will last less than 12 months)
Duties of this position include: Washing dishes and kitchen wares manually or with machines, making sure dishes are cleaned, dried, and stored properly. Taking out trash from various stations within the kitchen. Perform all duties using the proper sanitation practices. To keep area clean and ready for certified inspection at any time. To work in any other food service area as needed. To help prep for large groups.

As part of this comprehensive Food and Beverage operation, the Center offers served meals, buffet meals, receptions, banquet bars, a la carte deliveries, coffee breaks and off-site events for any and all meal periods and time frames. This position will be tasked with: setting tables as needed; serving customers in the banquet area as needed; serving coffee breaks; serving customers in our various food outlets; catering outside functions as needed; performing other customer service functions as needed.

Concierge Supervisor
The Concierge Supervisor will assist the Concierge Manager in leading a team of young professionals in concierge, transportation, and bellhop services to provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and employees of the Georgia Center. This position’s main focus is to train team members and hold them accountable for executing the high service standards they are taught. The Supervisor will assist the Manager in scheduling, coaching, and reviewing the team.

Night Auditor (Temporary – position will last less than 12 months)
This position is responsible for overall operations and appearance of the Hotel Front Desk during the 11 pm – 7 am shift. This includes serving as Manager on Duty when the full-time night auditor cannot work, auditing the hotel’s daily transactions, monitoring all in-house billing arrangements, and balancing daily cash, check and credit card transactions for the deposit.

Senior Accountant
This position is critical to maintaining timely payments to our vendors, providers of services and employees travel reimbursements.
This position will utilize the UGA Financial Management system to process payments promptly and through the appropriate channels; serve as delegate for travel expense reports and non-travel related expense reports; communicate with departments any changes that are made to the travel policy or payment request procedures; provide assistance to departments that may have questions or problematic issues with anything in regards to vendor payment processing.
