FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Join our team of culinary professionals providing exceptional service in our onsite restaurants and catered events.
Special Events Chef
The individual in this role will assist the Executive Chef in the recruiting, training, and directing of a team of culinary professionals that ensures culinary excellence in preparation and presentation of food products for outlets within the Georgia Center and catered events. Managing the elements related to profit and loss within the kitchen operation. Assist in the development and management of a safety culture that creates a work environment that is focused on the health and safety of guests and employees.

Cook - Temporary
*This is a temporary position that will last less than 12 months and is not eligible for benefits. Temporary employees will be considered for full-time positions when they are available. The duties of this position include: kitchen prep (cutting meat and vegetables, preparing food for service, maintenance of event food levels), preparation of custom food for specific outlets within the Georgia Center and occasionally working with staff to help make and deliver banquet food to the event areas. All duties must be performed using the proper sanitation practices to keep area clean and ready for certified inspection at any time.

Front Desk Supervisor
The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor serves as Manager on Duty supervising front office employees and assisting the Front Office Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure an efficient and high-quality guest experience. This position supports team members in handling guest requests and complaints, performs bucket checks, income auditing, and room inventory monitoring. Understands all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties and help maximize revenue opportunities. Administrative Specialist
The Administrative Specialist for the Hotel Division of the Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel is a high-level administrative position that reports to the Hotel Director and works closely with the department managers within the hotel division. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the hotel division and works closely with internal and external customers and vendors. This position is responsible for managing the daily activities of the hotel director’s office as well as assisting the hotel division and department managers with a variety of responsibilities. These responsibilities include employee recruitment and hiring, report development, project management, and policies/procedures development. Executive Housekeeper
The Executive Housekeeper is a critical member of the Hotel Division Management Team and is responsible for assisting with both strategic and tactical challenges facing the division. As the Executive manager of the Housekeeping Department, he/she will develop and implement operational standards, training programs, employee recruitment activities, and cultivate a team spirit among personnel. Housekeeper
The Georgia Center Housekeeper provides cleaning services primarily in hotel guest rooms. This position is responsible for responding to all guest requests appropriately, identifying and notifying appropriate parties of any maintenance issues, and maintaining accurate records of work performed and time spent. The Housekeeper maintains his/her cart with the proper cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens. Night Auditor - Temporary
The part-time night auditor will perform an audit of the business day’s transactions. Audit duties include running all daily reports and checking for accuracy, auditing all payment types, completing all end-of-day reports, and rolling the date to the next business day. The night auditor will also check in and check out guests, make and confirm reservations, answer all telephone calls and respond to guest requests, serve as manager on duty, enter maintenance work orders, prepare daily shift report, and attend meetings and training sessions. As the manager on duty, the night auditor will learn the hotel’s fire, health, and safety regulations and be ready to implement these policies and procedures when needed.
