This executive coaching certification program, ICF approved*, puts you to work with the industry’s leading authors. As you take the class, you’ll have 60+ hours in the classroom, and expert weekly support with a practicum client. The Sherpa process involves six phases, with comprehensive exercises, assessments, and activities associated with each phase. The course includes in-depth fundamentals of coaching along with:

  • Definitions: What executive coaching is, and needs to become
  • Communications styles for coach and client
  • The Sherpa Stance: How to keep coaching professional
  • Who needs a coach?
  • What does it take to be a good coach?
  • Why does coaching need a process?
  • What questions do I ask while I am coaching?
  • How can I tell if my client is ‘getting it’?
  • How can I tell when my client is finished?

After the in-classroom sessions conclude, you will complete a multi-week, asynchronous, practicum client assignment with your Sherpa Coach. *Course details, dates, and times are subject to change.

Standard Refund and Program Cancellation Policies:
The Georgia Center will gladly issue refunds (minus a $250 processing fee) for cancellations made on or before September 6, 2022. No refunds will be made for cancellations after September 6, 2022. Judith Colemon KinebrewJudith Colemon Kinebrew is an author and educator who trains and certifies executive coaches. Judith co-authored "The Sherpa Guide: Process-Driven Executive Coaching”, the world’s most widely used textbook for coach training and is the foundation of The Sherpa Process. Her latest book: “BE . . don’t do” is the Sherpa Guide to coaching skills for managers and executives. With her passion for leadership, Judith began coaching executives one-on-one in 2001.
