Anyone looking to become SHRM® certified. Led by a SHRM®-certified instructor, this course combines the SHRM Certification Prep System with expert teaching to facilitate a comprehensive and detailed review of the current SHRM BASK®.

Continuing Education Information

Successful graduates of the course will receive 4.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) (Opens in a new window) from the University of Georgia and a digital certificate of program completion.

Fees & funding information

The registration fee includes the SHRM Certification Prep System with printed books.

As an added bonus to our students, you will be eligible for a discount on the SHRM Exam Application fee as a part of the Corporate Volume Exam program.

Military funding information

Cancellation or refund

We will issue a refund, minus a $150 processing fee for cancellations made no later than thirty (30) days before the course start date.

Technology

This course is hosted on the UGA e-Learning Commons (eLC) portal and the online SHRM Certification Prep System, so consistent and reliable access to a computer and internet is needed. Participants in the online format must attend the live-online Zoom sessions with access to a camera and microphone in a distraction-free environment.

Prerequisites

Although there are no prerequisites for enrolling in the Human Resources Management Certificate course, the content assumes a basic familiarity with the general duties within human resources.

Completion requirements

In order to receive the Certificate of Program Completion, participants must:

  • Attend and participate in 80% of the class sessions.
  • Earn an 80% or higher on each graded assignment.
