AP® Summer Institutes for Teachers provides you with the content and resources you need to lead a successful AP® course at your school. These intensive workshops familiarize you with subject-specific AP® standards, course content and teaching methods, and help you identify the skills and knowledge AP® exams assess, so you can better prepare your students.

The workshops help you develop or tweak your syllabi and lesson plans and learn new strategies for teaching students at beginning and intermediate levels. This is a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and information with your peers, and become a member of an engaged and diverse learning community.

Registrations for the 2023 Advanced Placement Summer Institutes are processed through Cvent. All attendees must have an AP Central account to begin the registration process.

After completing registration in Cvent, you must create an account in the University of Georgia’s registration system (Public Service & Outreach (PSO) Registration System) to process payments for the workshop. Your Cvent confirmation email will have the payment instructions.

Did you apply for a scholarship?
We highly recommend registering for the course now, even if you are applying for a College Board scholarship. We will hold your space in the course until we get the release of the scholarship recipients list from College Board by May 15, 2023. If you do not receive a scholarship, we will notify you. At that time, you or your school will need to make a full payment to hold your space in the course.

Registration check-in will take place on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. There will be a registration check-in on Monday at 7:00 a.m. Classes will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and end at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
