GenCyberArch Academy Camp

For the health and safety of all, we will be offering virtual/online-only camps this summer. This camp is not able to be offered in an online format and will be cancelled.

For our currently registered students, we will be contacting you directly via e-mail to see if you would like to transfer to one of our other camps being offered virtually. If not, we will process a full refund.

If you have questions about the new virtual camps, contact us at questions@georgiacenter.uga.edu.

Have you ever wondered how computer systems prevent and stop malicious attacks? Do you want to learn more about passwords, phishing, and network security? If so, this is the camp for you. Cyber security is a booming field with over 3 million jobs expected in the next 3 years. The Cyber Academy will focus on “Secure, Detect, Protect” for home and online systems. Students will engage in hands on learning in UGA’s computer labs, emphasizing individual and family cybersecurity. Using a Raspberry Pi computer, students will learn critical cybersecurity concepts like defense in depth, confidentiality, integrity, and much more. If you want to develop your cybersecurity awareness and your ability to protect your computer, come join us this summer!
