Photoshop for Photographers 2

This course will help take your Adobe Photoshop skills to the next level. To benefit from this course, you should have a basic knowledge of Photoshop.

In the class, you will use Photoshop CS6/Photoshop Elements 10 to retouch actual files and create a photo book.  

You will learn these capabilities of Photoshop CS6/Photoshop Elements 10:

  • portrait retouching
  • filters (such as oil paint, liquify, and RAW)
  • various tools (such as content-aware, cropping, and straightening)
  • layering styles
  • plugins for additional image effects and editing
  • white balance
  • noise reduction

Joe Myeress has been a photographer for 30 years. He was a US Navy photographer for 5 years, during which time he photographed many events at the White House, including President George H. W. Bush's Inauguration. He has worked in many different areas such as weddings, models, studio, portraits, still, and travel. He currently works as the Senior Photographer for a national-retail chain and shoots most of the product shots seen on their web sites.
