2025 STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE

Integrating AI and GenAI Solutions into Work Routines

This session is for anyone who is new to artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI). You don’t need to have any experience with these tools to attend. You’ll learn what AI and GenAI are, and how you can start using them in your daily work. You’ll also learn about “prompt engineering” – a way to ask AI the right questions to get helpful answers. Bring a laptop to practice as you go; not required.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how AI and GenAI systems are designed and deployed
  2. Differentiate between AI platforms and models
  3. Identify potential ethical and legal challenges in integrating AI
  4. Perform and recognize prompt engineering best practices

Presenter:
