Instructor(s)
Dan Strohl has devoted his career to developing the communication and technical skills of professional staff. His passion is to work in a classroom setting or on-site with his clients, basing course content on “real-world” work situations. Combining discussion with collaborative exercises, he creates an exceptional learning environment that addresses individual goals as well as organizational needs.
His experience as a trainer and speaker spans four decades. While in graduate school, he trained tour guides at the Atlanta Zoo. While serving in the Air Force, he trained a diverse mix of military and civilian staff. He completed his federal career at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where he led reviews of federal programs and taught classes on writing and auditing.
Since leaving DOJ, he has taught thousands of employees nationwide in the public and private sectors. Among his clients are NASA, NTSB, Dassault Systems, Pfizer, L-3 Communications, the University of Georgia, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Defense.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University and his Master of Arts degree from the University of West Georgia. He enjoys family activities, racewalking, and volunteering in the community. He has chaired the Speakers Bureau of Zoo Atlanta and was president of a chapter of Toastmasters International.
