UGA Summer Academy Assistant Instructor: Visual Storytellers

We are seeking an Assistant Instructor to support the Lead Instructor in delivering an engaging, hands-on, and supportive learning experience for The Visual Storytellers Lab, a program for aspiring young photographers and journalists (ages 13-17). Students explore camera operation, field reporting, ethical storytelling, and digital editing while producing a final photojournalism project. The Assistant Instructor will support daily instruction, student engagement, and fieldwork throughout the week. The camp runs July 13-17.
