About this course
What you’ll learn
You will explore negotiation skills and discover how to choose the most cost-effective and least intrusive Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods to reach outcomes that benefit everyone involved. You’ll gain a clear understanding of different ADR techniques, learn when and how to apply them properly, and appreciate the ethical considerations that come with using these methods. Offered in partnership with CLS by BARBRI, this course will help you develop a basic confidence in applying ADR techniques to real-life situations.

Who should attend?
A paralegal, business professional, or HR executive interested in learning mediation skills.
HR Professionals: This course will provide 45 Professional Development Credits to SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP certification holders.

Continuing Education Information
Students will be awarded a Certificate of Program Completion for 4.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successfully completing the course.
This is an accelerated course. You will be expected to spend an average of 8-12 hours per week reading and completing assignments. Please note that extensions will not be granted for this online course. 70% is the minimum passing score on all tests and assignments for this course.
