Forget about sitting in a boring classroom this summer. We want you to step directly onto the crime scene. CSI: UGA is the ultimate hands-on experience for those ready to uncover the real science behind solving mysteries.
You won’t just learn about forensics here. You will become a forensic scientist in a professional lab at the University of Georgia. Your mission involves working with a team to crack a complex unsolved case from start to finish. You will get to dust for fingerprints and explore DNA extraction while examining simulated blood spatter. You will use forensic chemistry to identify unknown substances and piece together the puzzle. It all builds toward a final showcase where you present your evidence and catch the suspect.
