The Georgia Center offers a variety of outdoor meeting space and areas available to your attendees in order to gather with fellow conferees, guests, and family. From open spaces designed to accommodate vendors and receptions, to the gardens surrounding the facility, there are gathering locations to fit every need.

Wide open Space

Hill Atrium

Ideal for exhibits or receptions, the Hill Atrium features high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the lush gardens in Lumpkin Plaza. The Hill Atrium connects to the Pecan Tree Galleria and is located adjacent to the University’s South Campus Parking Deck.

Pecan Tree Courtyard

The Pecan Tree Courtyard features inviting outdoor patio seating and four fire pits with lounge seating. It is conveniently located adjacent to the Bulldog Bistro.

Conference-level convenience

Kellogg Concourse

Located on the second floor with most conference rooms, this is a great space for exhibits and receptions. It also serves as a comfortable and convenient place for event attendees to take a break or converse with colleagues.

The Kellogg Concourse features comfortable seating, wireless Internet access and spectacular views of the Kellogg Garden and the University’s campus.

Lumpkin Plaza

Lumpkin Plaza is the third and largest garden area of the Georgia Center which is nestled in the middle of a pecan tree grove. Each season brings new growth and colors to the grounds, giving guests the opportunity to take a refreshing walk or just enjoy time outside and enjoy a bit of nature during their breaks. The Georgia Center’s grounds are but a part of the University’s 750-acre campus.

Kellogg Garden

The Kellogg Garden is one of two private gardens at the Conference Center. Offering a quiet atmosphere to relax between classes or enjoy a drink with friends.

Hotel Lobby

A convenient, comfortable place to meet colleagues or to relax for a few minutes during breaks, featuring comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. The Concierge desk is also located in the lobby for your convenience to help you with directions or share suggestions of things to do while in Athens. The hotel’s dining options are directly across from the lobby area.

Pecan Tree Galleria

The Pecan Tree Galleria features high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the lush Lumpkin Plaza and Pecan Tree Courtyard. This space is ideal for exhibits, tradeshows or receptions and connects to the Hill Atrium. It is also a great place to relax, make a phone call, or chat with a colleague or friend. It also features comfortable seating, flat-screen TV, wireless Internet and work stations with docking ports.
