Director of Sales & Event Management

The Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales & Event Management to lead the Sales, Event Coordination, and Event Services teams. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, overseeing event planning and execution, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring exceptional client experiences. The Director will provide strategic direction for conference and event operations, foster collaboration across departments, and build strong relationships with clients and community partners. Additionally, this position oversees the Hospitality & Food Industry Management (HFIM) student internship program, supporting the development of future hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a results-oriented individual with deep experience in sales, event management, and financial oversight.
