What you’ll learn
You’ll learn advanced techniques for legal research and writing, including how to effectively utilize law library resources and online tools like WESTLAW. You’ll gain skills in crafting precise search queries, differentiating between computer-assisted and traditional research methods, and applying these strategies to save time and enhance your legal work. Offered in partnership with CLS by BARBRI, this certificate course will expand your expertise and prepare you for more specialized research tasks in your legal career.

Who should attend?
Individuals who have already completed the Paralegal Certificate Course, or the equivalent, or law office experience.
Continuing Education Information
Students will be awarded a Certificate of Program Completion for 5.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successfully completing the course.
This is an accelerated course. You will be expected to spend an average of 8-12 hours per week reading and completing assignments. Please note that extensions will not be granted for this online course. 70% is the minimum passing score on all tests and assignments for this course.
